Sennie (SEN SPECIALIST/ NANNY) for G9

Salary: £18 - £22 per hour gross, dependant on experience

Days/Hours:
Term time: Approx 20 hrs per week
Monday: 1:30pm - 7:30pm
Tuesday: 1:30pm - 7pm
Wednesday: 3:15pm - 7:30pm
Thursday: 3:15pm - 7:30pm
School holidays/Inset Days:
Monday – Thursday 8am - 7pm
3.5 term-time hours per week are without G9, to allow for
G9’s clothes’ folding and ironing, batch cooking, activity
planning and resource creation. Additional babysitting to
be agreed between Sennie and Family on an ad hoc
basis.

Your Main Responsibilities:
- Providing specialist SEN childcare and support for G9 Down Syndrome, Dysphagia tailored to their individual needs
- Planning and leading engaging, child-centred activities that support development and wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with the family and any professionals involved (e.g. SLT, OT, physio, nursery)
- If applicable: nursery duties such as children's meal prep, laundry and keeping the children's areas tidy
What We're Looking For (Requirements):
- 2+ years SEN childcare or therapeutic support experience (essential)
- 1-1 experience supporting Down Syndrome
- The right to work in the UK
