JOB SUMMARY
To support the management team in planning and providing for residents’ care needs, administering medications and working with the wider multi-disciplinary team, playing a vital role in ensuring: - · Resident safety and well-being · Collaborative person-centred care planning · Effective delivery of care and interventions · Effective communication within the team as well as with residents’ and their families · Positive resident experience / quality of life
To deliver a day to day service which effectively meets the needs of individuals and families.
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential care setting
Medication administration experience
Knowledge of safeguarding, person-centred care, and CQC standards
Excellent leadership and team supervision skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compassionate, caring, and empathetic approach
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to maintain accurate care records
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team
