We are looking for Qualified Dental Nurse to join our established, 3 Surgery fully private practice in the village of Earls Barton, on a fixed term Maternity cover contract in December 2026.
The role is part time and is 24.5 hours p/w
- Tuesday 8:30am - 5:30pm ( 1 hour break)
- Wednesday 8:30am - 5:30pm ( 1 hour break)
- Thursday 8:30am - 6:00pm (1 hour break)
The ideal Candidate will be:
- GDC registered
- Fully Immunized (Hep B)
- Have a minimum of 1 year of chairside experience
- Experience with Dentally is desirable (training can be provided)
- Advance their knowledge within the dental industry
Extra Qualifications in Radiography would be preferred but not essential, the hourly rate will increase based on extra qualifications.
Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, including the equipment
- Carry out infection prevention and control procedures
- Record dental charting and oral tissue assessment carried out by other registrants
- Prepare equipment materials and patients for dental treatments, hygienist and radiography
- Process dental radiographs
- Monitor, support and reassure patients
- Perform the following additional procedures on prescription from or under the direction of, another registrant if qualified to do so: Take radiographs
