Role – Female Support Workers
Driver Required
Location- Widnes
Salary - £14.57 ( Inclusive of Paid holiday entitlement)
Shifts –
- Wednesdays: 9am – 5pm
- Saturdays: 9am – 5pm
- Sundays: 8am – 7pm
Key Role essentials and responsibilities –
- Competent verbal and written English
- Must have experience within health and social care settings
Meet the person you’ll be supporting:
- What are my hobbies and interests? I love knitting, gardening, and accessing my local community. When I am at home, I really enjoy watching musicals.
- What challenges do I have? I have autism, and some conditions which restrict my mobility, so I sometimes use a wheelchair. I can get anxious quite quickly and need support with this, I also have, ASD, ADHD, Tourette’s (including tics, which often present more when she is comfortable), and experiences hypermobility.
- What am I proud of? I am graduating from Chester University this year and moving to Widnes soon
- How would I describe myself? I am caring, fun to spend time with, and energetic.
- What type of person do I get on well with? I get on well with mature, outgoing people who can engage with me about my hobbies, interests, and aspirations.
- MY TEAM
- How many people support me at one time?I am supported by 1 staff member at all times.
- What shift patterns do my team do? My team do various day shift times
- Wednesdays- 9am - 5pm
- Saturdays - 9am - 5pm
- Sundays - 8am - 7pm
- What are my team trained in? My team are trained in Administration of medication, in addition to Autism and Learning Disability training. My team also complete Amore Complex Care’s mandatory training.Who we are looking for?
- Someone who is a good communicator, to help with the service user's anxiety.
- A good mentor, who can help teach this young person important life skills, and promote her independence.
- Providing companionship during a transitional period in this person's life.
- Ensuring the service user is safe

- This role does not involve travel between multiple sites during one shift. Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives
