Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including burgers, fries, and other specialised dishes
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all food is prepared to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards
- Serve food promptly and professionally to guests when required
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently at all times
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Previous restaurant experience or culinary training is advantageous but not essential
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly to operational needs
