Overview
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Trade Builder to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves working across a variety of trades to deliver high-quality building and refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and fabrication. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to utilise their diverse construction skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Undertake carpentry tasks such as framing, fitting doors and windows, and installing fixtures
- Carry out roofing repairs and installations with attention to safety and quality standards
- Perform construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes
- Execute masonry work including bricklaying, block work, and concrete
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently across various trades
- Fabricate components on-site using appropriate techniques and materials
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour over extended periods
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in trades preferred but not essential if extensive experience is demonstrated
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in diverse environments
