Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3)
We are looking for a motivated, caring, and enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and wishes to gain a recognised Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification while developing valuable practical experience in a high-quality childcare setting.
As an apprentice, you will receive support and mentoring from experienced practitioners while learning how to provide outstanding care and education for children. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, there is the potential to secure a full-time permanent position within the nursery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning, development, and well-being.
- Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can learn through play and exploration.
- Help supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and welfare at all times.
- Build positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Support daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, toileting, sleep times, and outdoor play.
- Observe children's progress and contribute to developmental records and assessments under the guidance of senior staff.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality childcare and early years education.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, sharing information about children's daily experiences and achievements.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality requirements.
- Attend all apprenticeship training sessions, workshops, and assessments as required to achieve the Level 3 qualification.
- Participate actively in team meetings, training opportunities, and continuous professional development activities.
