KevCo Logistics are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Driver to support our operation on a part-time, ad-hoc basis.
This is not a full-time role and there are no guaranteed hours. However, at present there is regular work available most weekends, with additional sporadic weekday shifts when required.
The role will mainly involve weekend store delivery cover, with possible trunking work, holiday cover, and general transport support as operational needs arise.
This position may suit someone who is retired, semi-retired, already working part-time, or looking for flexible Class 1 driving work without committing to a full-time position.
The Role
- Part-time / ad-hoc Class 1 driving work
- Mainly weekend store delivery cover
- Holiday cover when required
- Possible trunking work
- Mostly day work
- Some weekday shifts may be available sporadically
- Refrigerated trailer work may be involved
- Occasional manual handling and tail-lift deliveries
- Flexibility and open availability preferred
- Shifts offered based on business needs
Drivers must be comfortable with varying routes, customer sites, store delivery procedures, and working independently while maintaining professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and professionally
- Carry out deliveries and collections on time
- Follow Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive, and company compliance procedures
- Maintain good communication with the transport office
- Take pride in vehicle condition and presentation
- Provide excellent customer service
- Represent KevCo Logistics professionally at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Strong knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience preferred
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Good UK road network knowledge
- Professional, flexible, and dependable attitude
- Comfortable with occasional manual handling and tail-lift deliveries
- Aged 25+ preferred due to insurance requirements
A truck navigation system is provided.
