Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic and Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, including residential homes and commercial establishments and appliances . This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential cleaning services that meet our clients' expectations. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services with professionalism and efficiency. Driving license is required
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial premises and appliances, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Manage supplies and ensure that cleaning materials are used efficiently and replenished as necessary.
- Follow client-specific instructions to customise cleaning routines according to individual requirements.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining organisational skills.
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform repetitive tasks over extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude with excellent time management skills.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members as needed.
