We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and seat them comfortably
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Provide attentive guest service, addressing any special requests or concerns
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are strictly followed
- Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant serving roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing bills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or peak hours as required
- A positive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering excellent guest service
