About Us
Eastry House is a Residential home, set in a quiet, rural village near Sandwich in Kent. Set in beautiful tranquil grounds, this Residential home supports older adults with learning disabilities who may also have physical and mental health needs, to live independently.
Job Profile
- To dust, vacuum, wash and generally clean all areas of the service including but not limited to the bathrooms, toilets, stairs, corridors, meeting rooms, kitchens, entrance and lobby areas (including the door windows) and staff areas.
- To keep in a clean and tidy manner all equipment used; i.e. vacuum cleaners, mops, dusters, etc. ensuring that they safely stored away after use.
- To safely move furniture on a regular basis to facilitate cleaning behind, underneath, above, etc. ensuring the health and safety of yourself, the Service Users, staff and visitors.
- To ensure hand washing facilities are kept to a hygienic standard and that there are sufficient amounts of soap and paper towels.
- To ensure sufficient amounts of toilet rolls are available every day and that no toilet is left without any.
- To be especially attentive when using cleaning materials ensuring that only the required amount is used and that they are safely locked away after use.
- To plan the order of supplies.
