Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced mobile cleaner to join our professional cleaning team to provide cover in sites in St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Hitchin and Hertford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cleaning in varied environments demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. This role involves working in various commercial environments, ensuring spaces are hygienic, organised, and presentable. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. We are seeking a reliable Mobile cleaner that can take the responsibility to step up and cover as and when the support at our sites is needed.
Job role
- Full Uk driving license and vehicle is REQUIRED
- Location - St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Hitchin and Hertford
- Shift schedule - from 3:30 pm onwards (15-25 hours per week)
- Pay rate - £14 per hour plus mileage (30p per mile)
- Providing cover at a number of local cleaning contracts, covering for absentee's.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of our exisiting clients, including offices, schools, doctors surgeries etc.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout all areas
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes
Experience
- FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE AND VEHICLE IS REQUIRED
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is essential
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, equipment, and products is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Previous experience working in busy environments is advantageous
