The Role
We're currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.
As a project manager, you'll manage a variety of construction, refurbishment and facilities management projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standards our clients expect.
Working closely with colleagues, clients and our supply chain, you'll be responsible for balancing programme, quality, commercial performance and customer satisfaction while leading projects with professionalism and integrity.
No two days are the same, so you'll need to be organised, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Delivering Successful Projects
Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.-
Deliver projects safely, on programme, within budget and to a consistently high standard.

Develop and maintain project programmes, identifying risks and taking proactive action where required.

Ensure all project documentation, drawings and contract information are accurate, current and available.
Leading People and Building Relationships
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects run efficiently.-
Build positive, professional relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.

Lead project meetings, site inspections and progress reviews with confidence and professionalism.

Promote a collaborative culture across everyone involved in project delivery.
Commercial and Operational Management
Work closely with Quantity Surveyors to manage project costs and commercial performance.-
Identify, record and manage project variations.

Monitor progress, resolve issues quickly and keep projects moving forward.

Carry out surveys, inspections, snagging and quality checks where required.
Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement
Champion a positive health and safety culture across every project.-
Ensure work is delivered in line with company standards and client expectations.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication and project delivery.

Represent Concorde professionally and positively at all times.
Skills and Experience
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Essential
-
Previous experience managing construction, refurbishment or facilities management projects.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
-
Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.

Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.
-
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with Microsoft Project would be advantageous.

Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
-
Experience working within the public sector or delivering local authority projects.

SMSTS qualification (or equivalent experience).

Relevant construction or project management qualifications.
