Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner / Wash-up to join our team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our bakery environment. This role involves supporting kitchen operations through thorough cleaning and wash-up duties, ensuring a safe and organised workspace. Also cleaning throughout the bakery, floors, walls machinery. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and experience in food preparation or hospitality settings. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer an opportunity to work within a dynamic team committed to excellence.
Mon-Fri 10am-2pm. Sat 10am-1pm.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for washing up dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and hygienically
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, workstations, and storage areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy periods
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used appropriately and replenished as needed
- Support the organisation of the kitchen by tidying storage areas and disposing of waste responsibly
- Follow strict hygiene procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of restaurant or hotel cleaning procedures is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service and teamwork
- Flexibility to adapt to various shifts or duties as required
