About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to lead and develop our technology operations in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys driving IT strategy, maintaining secure and reliable infrastructure, and supporting business growth through innovative technology solutions.
Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will oversee day-to-day IT operations while identifying opportunities to improve systems, security, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the internal IT team.
- Manage IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud environments, and business-critical systems.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security across all technology platforms.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee cybersecurity initiatives, risk management, and data protection compliance.
- Manage software, hardware, and technology vendors, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
- Plan and deliver IT projects, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and minimise downtime.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in an IT Manager or senior IT leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud technologies, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Familiarity with virtualisation technologies, endpoint management, and enterprise security tools.
- Strong project management, vendor management, and budgeting experience.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or equivalent are advantageous.
