Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver to join our pallet network operation.
The Role
This is a Monday to Friday day role carrying out local palletised freight deliveries and collections across the region.
You will be representing Clive Cowern Transport professionally whilst ensuring freight is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with customer requirements.
Duties will include:
- Multi-drop pallet network deliveries and collections
- Ensuring all freight is secured and transported safely
- Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
- Maintaining compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations
- Representing the company in a professional manner at all times
Typical Hours:
Monday to Friday
Approx.
08:00 - 18:00 (may fluctuate)
What We’re Looking For
- Full Class C (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Good UK geographical knowledge
- Strong timekeeping and organisational skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Good customer service skills
- Previous HGV driving experience preferred, but not essential
