We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in crafting and assembling various wooden structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, working with both hand and power tools to create high-quality woodwork in a construction setting.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble wooden components for structures such as stud walls, doors, windows
- Utilise power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and smooth wood
- Work on projects involving masonry and roofing as required
- Ensure precise measurements and accurate cutting for a perfect fit
- Perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter
- Proficiency in joinery techniques and woodworking processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have own tools and van - fuel card provided
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
