Production Night Shift Operator
Our Operations teams are critical to the smooth running of our operations, providing comprehensive knowledge and technical skill. We're looking for passionate Production Operators to join our team and have some fun along the way!
The role will be reporting to the shift supervisor and working as part of the production team to ensure our products are produced to the highest possible standard ensuring compliance to Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene standards at all times.

Hours of Work:
Night Shifts: Monday to Thursday 9pm-7am
Our mix that awaits you:

To carry out caustic cleans as per schedule to maintain production quality standards.

To use pedestrian/ride on scrubber to clean all floors in production department.

To empty all bins in production department.

Ensure that all tasks are completed in line with Haribo’s Safe Operating Procedures (SOP)

To control waste streams ensuring compliance.

Use CI methodology to improve processes.

Deciding when it is appropriate to report any issues to Supervision.

Delivery of required production plan for the allocated machine
-
Liaising with colleagues in the other areas to ensure the smooth running throughout
-
Preparation and delivery of an effective handover to incoming shift
-
Maintaining and promoting good levels of housekeeping, personal hygiene and cleanliness carrying out regular inspections

Understanding and complying with the requirements of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the Environmental Permit to the extent it affects this role

Be aware of all relevant company standards/systems that affect this role

Regularly checking standards are being met
Ingredients that you bring with you:

Previous experience operating machines – preferred but not essential
-
Understanding of COSHH principles
-
Awareness of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards
-
Good level of verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to work under pressure
