Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sewer/Fabric Cutter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately cutting and preparing fabric and other materials according to specified patterns and measurements. Your expertise will ensure that all materials are prepared efficiently and meet quality standards, contributing to the seamless production of high-quality products. Responsibilities
- Use sewing machines and cutting tools to accurately cut fabric and materials based on detailed patterns and specifications
- Measure and mark fabrics precisely to ensure correct sizing and alignment for assembly
- Operate warehouse equipment such as cutters, scissors, rulers, and other tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect materials for defects or inconsistencies before cutting to maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in the workspace
- Record production data accurately, including quantities cut and materials used or remaining
Qualifications
- Experience with sewing or fabric cutting is highly desirable, showcasing technical skill in handling textiles/Training will also be provided.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise cuts and quality control
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and operating cutting tools throughout shifts
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency
