We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Parts & Clothing Manager to lead our Parts and Clothing department in Bridgwater. Job Description:
As our Parts & Clothing Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Parts and Clothing department, ensuring excellent customer service, effective stock management, and an attractive retail environment. You will play a key role in supporting both retail customers and our workshop while driving sales of genuine parts, accessories, and riding apparel.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operation of the Parts & Clothing department.
Deliver exceptional customer service both in-store, over the phone, and via email.
Provide expert advice on motorcycle parts, accessories, clothing, and rider safety equipment.
Maintain appropriate stock levels through effective ordering, inventory control, and supplier management.
Work closely with the workshop to ensure technicians have the parts they need in a timely manner.
Merchandise the showroom to create an attractive and commercially effective retail environment.
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase parts and clothing sales.
Ensure products are correctly priced, displayed, and promoted.
Process customer orders, payments, and supplier invoices accurately.
Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock checks.
Stay up to date with new products, manufacturer promotions, and industry trends.
Ensure the department remains clean, organised, and operates to the highest standards.
Support and motivate colleagues while promoting a positive team environment.
Our Ideal Candidate:
A genuine passion for motorcycles and the motorcycle lifestyle.
Previous experience in motorcycle or automotive parts, accessories, or retail management.
Strong knowledge of motorcycle parts, clothing, and accessories.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
Commercial awareness with the ability to maximise sales opportunities.
Good IT skills and experience using retail or dealer management systems.
Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
Able to work independently while contributing positively as part of the wider dealership team.
A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The hours of work are 8.30am - 5.30pm with a lunch break, it is a 5 day working week including Saturdays, with a set day off during the week.
Up to £42,000 On Target Earnings.
