We are looking to appoint a keen and enthusiastic team player to join our market team based at St John's Market in Scunthorpe town centre.
The Market Team are responsible for the delivery and management of North Lincolnshire’s indoor and outdoor markets. As an Ambassador you will undertake a broad range of duties in assisting the team to maintain safe and presentable markets and provide help and assistance to customers and traders. A large part of the role will be maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the building and service yard in line with health and safety procedures. Basic admin knowledge and IT literacy would also be beneficial.
Whilst this role is based at St John’s Market in Scunthorpe town centre, the post holder may be required use the market van to attend our outdoor events and markets in Brigg and Ashby..
The contracted hours are for 37 hours per week Tuesday to Saturday. Hours are on a rota basis with some early shifts from 6am and late shifts up to 9.30pm. An element of flexibility is required to cover holidays and absences.
