The Position / Role
Responsible for:
Assisting/supporting the assembly department and personal, support daily functions for assembling and finishing products, some testing might be required, though for this and any other function full training will be provided.
Overview:
Responsible for the day to day assembling and finishing of safety valves across the whole range of products, using multiple tools and equipment.
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and work instruction documents, Willing to undertake any projects/tasks deemed necessary for department/product improvements, with the ability to communicate to the relevant personal, and co-ordinate with assembly manager/supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Assembly support fitter will be responsible for: -
- Responsible for assembling and finishing safety valves across the whole range of products.
- Some testing might be required at times, full training will be provided for all functions
- For the safe use of all tools/tooling required for all functions
- Ensuring that all relevant customer requirements are fulfilled on the job travellers
- Responsible for following all the departments work instruction and procedures
- To be an active member of the team, and be able to communicate with the team
- Quality throughout all assembly processes
- Help support the team where necessary
- Supporting and communicating with the assembly supervisor and support techs
- To assist in other assembly tasks/duties deemed necessary at managers/supervisor’s request.
- Adhere to companies’ policy on health and safety.

Shift working pattern and shift allowance may be available after initial training.
Pay: £13.20 per hour
