Duties
- Prepare a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and flair, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
- Execute food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, plating, and garnishing to create visually appealing presentations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours while maintaining high standards of food quality.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and report shortages or equipment issues promptly.
- Serve meals to guests when required, providing friendly and professional customer service that enhances their overall experience.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety standards.
- Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail in meal presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests professionally.
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for learning is essential. Full training will be given.
The rate will be from £13.00/her plus tips on TRONC.
