25 Year Established North London Private Landlord

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long-established North London private landlord.
The Role
The work is typically void reactive and planned maintenance from a small repair to small works such as kitchen and bathroom installations. It will be moving from job to job throughout the day/week predominantly on a reactive basis.
You will be liaising closely with the office repairs co-ordinator, undertaking planned and re active maintenance works as the jobs come through.
The Person
The ideal candidate will come from a maintenance background and will have a good all-round ability. You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a maintenance operative.
You will need to have all road "multi trade" skills and be able to carry out the following types of work:
- Fitting kitchen units and worktops
- Basic plumbing duties
- Fixing cooker & washing machine issues
- Laying new laminate
- Fixing/ replacing locks
- Install and repair fire doors
- Basic electrics
- Tiling
- Install and repair windows
- Fencing
- General handyman skills
Applicants must:
- Enjoy quite varied work
- Be able to think on their feet and problem solve
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Be happy to work alone
- Have good organisational skills
- Have good time management
- Fluent in English
- Hard working
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade
- You must possess good all round multi-trading skills
- Own tools required
- Good customer service skills
- Full UK driving license
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm – weekends optional
Fuel pay & Haringey borough wide vehicle permit provided allowing you to park anywhere in Haringey without charge.
Pay is £1000-£1100, paid weekly - you pay your own taxes.
Ideally the role is for immediate start or ASAP.
Pay: £1,000.00-£1,100.00 per week
