Overview
We are seeking a skilled CPCS 360 Operator with GPS experience for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating excavators with GPS technology, contributing to our construction projects' efficiency and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse sites, utilising advanced machinery and technology to deliver high-quality results.
Duties
- Operate CPCS 360 excavators equipped with GPS systems to ensure precise earthmoving activities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to guarantee optimal performance
- Assist in setting up and calibrating GPS equipment for accurate operation on site
- Follow project plans and specifications, ensuring work is completed within designated parameters
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate activities effectively
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times
- Support in the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment as required during project phases
Experience
- Proven experience operating CPCS 360 excavators with GPS technology in a commercial construction setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to excavator operation and maintenance
- Experience with commercial driving, including the safe operation of lorries or transport vehicles for equipment movement
- Familiarity with site safety protocols and environmental considerations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and GPS data for accurate execution of tasks
- Valid CPCS card or equivalent certification demonstrating competence in plant operation
