The Role
Our cleaners are at the heart of what we do. This position is Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am
Behind every product that leaves our site is a team committed to maintaining the highest standards, and our Night Cleaning Team plays a critical role in making that possible.
As a Night Cleaner, you’ll help ensure our production environment is clean, safe and ready for our teams to perform at their best every day. Working overnight, you’ll take pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facility, helping us protect our people, our products and the quality our customers expect from Applied Nutrition.
Main Duties
- Cleaning of the work environment in adherence to the cleaning schedule
- Completion of any cleaning requests
- Completion of thorough handovers with outgoing/incoming Cleaners
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is maintained to required standard
- Ensure that all cleaning products and chemicals are stored correctly
- Ensure that waste materials are separated and disposed of correctly
- Responsible for washing and drying of PPE.
- Ensure canteens, offices, production and/or warehouse areas are cleaned to a high standard.
- Identification and reporting of any spillages, damages or issues (regardless of scale & impact) in a timely manner
- Completion of documentation.
- Requirement to use machinery in the cleaning of floors and other areas for which full training will be given.
- Comply with COSHH regulations
- Responsible for health and safety of your work environment
- Any additional activities as required by the management team.
Experience and Skill Level
- 1 year experience in cleaning (essential)
- Previous experience within the food industry (Preferred)
- Knowledge of food hygiene (Preferred)
- Able to work effectively in a team
- Great attention to detail
