We have exciting new opportunity and a dedicated rehab room which is being prepared at the moment in an upcoming and busy gym in the heart of Oadby, Leicester. Our team is dedicated to helping athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and everyday clients recover from injury,
manage pain, and optimize their physical performance. We pride ourselves on delivering evidence-based, client-centered care in a professional and welcoming environment.
The Role
We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and motivated Sports Massage Therapist to
join and help expand the business. You will work with a diverse caseload, ranging
from elite local athletes to individuals managing chronic everyday tension and
regular gym users with musculoskeletal ailments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough client consultations to assess physical conditions, injuries,
and health histories.
Deliver high-quality sports massage, deep tissue therapy, and soft tissue
mobilization.
Design tailored treatment plans to aid recovery, improve mobility, and prevent
injury.
Provide aftercare advice, including stretching and lifestyle recommendations.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client treatment records.
Manage bookings and maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming treatment
room.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy (Level 4 or 5 is highly
desirable).
Valid professional indemnity insurance and professional body registration
(e.g., SMA, FHT, STO).
Strong anatomical knowledge and understanding of musculoskeletal injuries.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, empathetic bedside
manner.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with other healthcare
professionals (e.g., physiotherapists, osteopaths).
Flexibility to work evenings or weekends to accommodate client demand
