The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sustainable growth for Therapies on Thames by developing strong referral relationships, securing new partnerships, and increasing service uptake across private clients, care homes, case managers, and healthcare professionals.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across:
- Care homes (residential and nursing)
- Private clients and families
- Case managers and legal professionals
- GP practices and community healthcare providers
- Build and maintain a strong referral network aligned with company values
- Meet agreed growth and revenue targets
- Represent Therapies on Thames at networking events, meetings, and local forums
Relationship Management
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and referrers
- Act as a professional ambassador for the Therapies on Thames brand
- Maintain regular contact with partners to understand needs and opportunities
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries and referrals
Marketing & Promotion
- Support marketing initiatives including:
- Networking breakfasts and events
- Presentations to care homes and professionals
- Local awareness campaigns
- Work with leadership to refine service messaging and positioning
- Provide feedback from the market to inform service development
Service & Quality Understanding
- Develop a strong working knowledge of:
- Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services
- Community rehabilitation and home‑based care
- Ensure expectations set with clients and referrers are accurate and ethical
- Work closely with clinical leads to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, leads, and activity
- Provide regular reports on:
- Pipeline activity
- Conversion rates
- Market trends and competitor activity
- Support pricing discussions and service proposals where appropriate

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
