Location: Bicester (Chesterton)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am-9:00am & 3:00pm-6:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am-9:00am & 3:00pm-4:30pm
Contract: Monday-Friday (Term Time Only or All Year Round Available)
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
About the Role
S4A is seeking a Before & After School Activity Leader to join our Wraparound Care setting in Bicester, helping to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where primary school children can learn, play, and thrive before and after the school day.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individual who enjoys working with children and is passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and activities.
The role offers the opportunity to work additional hours during school holidays through our Holiday Club provision if desired.
We offer both term-time only and all-year-round contracts, depending on your preference.
Role Overview
As an Activity Leader, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding wraparound care by:
- Creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children.
- Planning and leading a variety of fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.
- Encouraging children to build confidence, develop friendships, and enjoy their time at the club.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the setting alongside the wider team.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, school staff, and colleagues.
- Promoting positive behaviour through encouragement and clear expectations.
- Following all safeguarding, health & safety, and behaviour management procedures at all times.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and representing S4A positively within the school community.
