We are seeking a motivated and skilled Demolition Operative to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely executing demolition projects, dismantling structures with precision, and preparing sites for future construction or refurbishment. Responsibilities
- Safely demolish buildings, walls, and other structures using hand tools, power tools, and specialized demolition equipment.
- Prepare sites by removing debris, hazardous materials, and ensuring a clean working environment.
- Use technical skills such as carpentry, masonry, welding, plumbing, roofing, electrical work, and fabrication to assist in dismantling complex structures.
- Operate hand tools and power tools efficiently while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with site setup and ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other trades to coordinate demolition activities smoothly.
- Conduct inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards or structural issues needing attention.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in demolition work or related construction roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques including carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, and fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or plans is a plus.
- Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Good understanding of health and safety standards within the construction industry.
- Relevant certifications or training in demolition practices are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: £149.20-£79,769.05 per day
