Vacancy available- Assistant Steward – The Railway Club, Hereford Location: Hereford Hours: 20–25 hours per week, with additional hours available to provide holiday cover. The Railway Club is looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Assistant Steward to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with bar experience who enjoys providing excellent customer service in a welcoming club environment.
Key Responsibilities: Serving customers and providing excellent bar service Opening and closing the club Acting as a key holder Changing beer barrels Cashing up tills and handling daily takings Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Supporting the day-to-day running of the club Requirements: Previous bar experience is essential A trustworthy and responsible individual who can work independently Comfortable handling cash and carrying out end-of-day cashing up Able to change beer barrels (or willing to learn if required) Friendly, professional, and customer-focused Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours to cover holidays If you’re looking to join a friendly team and take on a varied and rewarding role, we’d love to hear from you.
