About Ever After Carts
Ever After Carts is a small, family - run luxury event hire business based in the North East. We specialise in beautifully styled food and drink carts for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events and other celebrations. From our Pancake Cart and Waffle Cart to our Boba Bar, Mojito Bar and Kunafa Cart, we love bringing something special to every event.
We're a growing business and are looking to expand our team with friendly, reliable people who are excited to be part of our journey.
Please note – This is seasonal work
This role is very seasonal, so our busiest periods are typically during school holidays, spring and summer months, weekends, and the festive season. Some weeks may have multiple shifts, while quieter periods may have fewer events. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work alongside studies, another job, or family commitments.
Duties
* Serve guests desserts from behind your station
* Keep your station tidy and clean throughout the event
* Ensure your station is clean and packed up at the end of your shift
* Preparing the selected drinks/desserts behind the cart ( you will receive training )
* Working as part of a small team at weddings, parties and private events across the North East
* Providing excellent customer service with a warm and professional attitude
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, outgoing and confident speaking to customers.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Happy working evenings and weekends.
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to travel to different venues across Newcastle, Sunderland and the wider North East.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferred, as our events take place at different venues across the region and this makes travelling much easier. However, driving is not essential, and we still encourage applicants without a licence to apply.
Experience in hospitality, events or customer service is a bonus, but full training will be provided.
