Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join Shirley vets for pets as a veterinary care assistant/receptionist.
Your role will involve assisting the vets and vet nurses in providing the best standard of care plus working on reception as part of our front of house team.
The position available is for 30 hours a week, which will include one Saturday in four.
The attributes required:
- You are the friendly and welcoming face for the client and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
- You are calm ,attentive and always focus on the clients' needs.
- You can deal with everything that is thrown at you from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of the new puppies first visit to the vet.
- You will bring enthusiasm to the role along with your love of pets.
- You enjoy working within a team. In short you like to be busy, enjoy helping people and their pets and always endeavour to do your best.
