We are looking for a dedicated, outgoing, experienced Supervisor to lead our day club groups for clients with dementia, through personalised and meaningful activities.
- Full specialist dementia training will be provided
- Weekday work only - no weekends or evenings
- Paid breaks & bank holiday rates
Interviews on a rolling basis as suitable applications come through.

Essential Criteria:
- Experienced team leader or supervisory skills
- Health care background
- Must have own transport and UK drivers licence or equivalent.
- Be able to work from our Oldland Common venue
- Be able to travel to other day clubs within Bath, Bristol & Wiltshire
- Potential to work up to 5 days per week
- Committed and organised work ethic

Excellent rates of pay (£28,600 pro rata), career progression and a great quality of life while at work. We need someone with initiative and interest with Dementia care. Work environment is fun, relaxed and fairly easy going in comparison to other health care work. You will lead a small team, approximately 2 per day, overall team max 10.
Weekday work, approx hours - 8:30am-4:15pm. Part time to start (3 days per week - Monday, Thursday & Friday) with the flexibility to increase hours in the future. Start time can be negotiated.
Bath area and surrounding locations, will need to be able to get to a variety of venues. Travel expenditure reimbursed - 55p/mile (details to be provided)
Duties include:
- Planning person-centred activities, trips, meaningful days
- Delivering the day club activities, considering interests of members
- Maintaining a high level of standard in how our day clubs are run
- Monitoring our members & ensuring they are happy, comfortable and engaged
- Ensuring the health and safety of vulnerable clients and colleagues, including providing personal care, administer medication & maintain record keeping of relevant documents
- Clear and regular communication with management team to update on client details, needs of day club and general tasks
- Supervising our support workers who will be there to assist the delivery of the day clubs alongside you
- Purchase food/drink allocation for the day clubs & manage a set budget, including booking day trips & purchasing resources for activities
- Ability to support, manage and prepare lunch service
- Transporting equipment between clubs, organising equipment & resources to suit day club activities
- Technology skills - update data on client information, record keeping , viewing and maintaining relevant documents etc
