We are a well-established plastic injection moulding manufacturer based in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, with over 50 years of success supplying high-quality components into the automotive, construction and leisure sectors.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Shift Manager to lead production operations and help drive safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement across our manufacturing facility.

The Role
As our Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for leading production operations across your shift, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets are consistently achieved.
Working closely with our Manufacturing and Engineering teams, you'll provide technical leadership, develop your team and drive operational excellence throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise production operations during your shift.
- Promote and maintain the highest Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
- Manage staffing levels to achieve production plans.
- Monitor and improve KPIs, including OEE, scrap and production efficiency.
- Drive quality standards and minimise defects.
- Ensure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Provide technical leadership across the injection moulding operation.
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Coach, develop and motivate production team members.
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to optimise production performance.
- Deliver production targets while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Shift Manager, Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Manufacturing Team Leader.
- Essential: Hands-on plastic injection moulding processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Experience leading teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of manufacturing KPIs, including OEE.
- Knowledge of 5S and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
Working Hours
38-hour working week
Week 1
- Monday-Thursday: 6:00am-2:15pm
- Friday: 6:00am-11:00am
Week 2
- Monday-Thursday: 2:00pm-10:15pm
- Friday: 11:00am-4:00pm
Week 3
- Monday-Thursday: 10:00pm-6:15am
