Commercial Mobile Tyre Fitter (Experienced or Trainee)
We are a busy, family-run business looking for a reliable and hardworking Commercial Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our team. This role is suitable for both experienced fitters and trainees, as full training will be provided.
The Role
You will be responsible for fitting and maintaining tyres on commercial vehicles, Plant and Agri Vehicles. This is a mobile position, so you will be working from a company van and attending customer sites and roadside breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
- Fitting tyres on a range of vehicles
- Responding to roadside breakdowns and call-outs
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Maintaining and taking care of company vehicle and equipment
- Working independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Confident driving larger vans
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, honest, and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Working Hours
- 44 hours per week, Monday to Saturday
- Every other Saturday off
- Overtime available
- Participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota (including evenings and weekends)
