Job Summary
Busy Bees Kindergarten CIC is an independent setting based in Manningtree, Essex. We are looking for someone to join our busy setting from as early as September 2026. We are open 40 weeks a year with the summer holiday off to enjoy, alongside Christmas shutdown and all half terms. Due to an extensive waiting list we are looking for an enthusiastic educator to join our team 4 days a week.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Nursery Educator to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to early childhood education while fostering positive growth and learning experiences for children in our care.
Position details:

40 weeks a year
Qualifications needed:
A valid Level 2, 3 or equivalent in early years childcare or above.
Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, rest periods, and organised learning sessions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents during regular updates or meetings.
- Assist with the organisation of nursery routines and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support the implementation of nursery policies and procedures to promote best practices in childcare.
- Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Occasionally assist with administrative tasks related to child records or activity planning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a caring approach towards children.
- Valid childcare or nursery qualification recognised by relevant authorities.

Pay: £12.85-£13.30 per hour
