Part-Time Hotel Receptionist
Location: ESPLANADE HOTEL-LLANDUDNO
Hours: Part-Time (including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required)
We are a busy and welcoming 40-bedroom hotel committed to providing exceptional customer service and a memorable guest experience. We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Part-Time Receptionist to join our front-of-house team.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and providing a warm, professional first impression.
- Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Handling telephone, email, and online enquiries.
- Processing reservations, amendments, and cancellations using the Rezlynx Property Management System.
- Taking payments and balancing daily transactions.
- Assisting guests with requests, local information, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate guest records and ensuring compliance with hotel procedures.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the reception desk.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel reception or hospitality role.
- Proven experience using Rezlynx booking/property management system.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working within a hotel of similar size.
- Knowledge of online travel agents (OTAs) and channel management.
- Experience handling guest complaints and problem-solving effectively.
