We're looking for someone to join our team at Pocha on Whiteladies Road in Bristol! We are an independent restaurant group, specialising in East Asian cuisine. In our system every team member learns every part of the operation of both Front of House and Back of House, so it's a great opportunity for you to learn new skills on top of those you might already have in one of these areas! What this looks like day to day includes food prep; line cooking; bar service-cocktails, barista and more; general cleaning: taking orders and serving the customers but generally we stick to one section per shift.

Available position is a permanent contract for flexible full time hours including paid holidays, on average 30-40hrs per week over 4 or 5 days as suits you. We are open to the public either between 11am-9pm weekdays and 11am-10pm weekends, and a typical shift might be 11-4/5-close.
Tips through TRONC will be added to the basic salary, and are typically £1-£1.50ph. Plus we offer staff discount, friends and family discount, staff parties/events, and training courses.
The ideal candidate will have:
Availability to work during all of our opening times, for 4/5 days per week. Please do not apply if you are unavailable part of the week or looking for part time hours, your application will not be considered.
Good English language skills.
Some experience in a restaurant/cafe environment, although full training will be given.
A desire to learn more about the industry and an interest in Asian food and culture.
Friendly and outgoing, with a positive attitude, especially towards hard work!
Ability to solve problems and contribute to the success of the team.
