In this role, you will ensure accounts remain within their set credit limit and agreed payment terms through regular phone, email, and day to day contact. Swiftly identifying and highlighting reasons for non-payment and dispute items.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated,detail-orientedand has excellent communication skills. In return, alongside your remuneration you will receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), an enhanced pension scheme with up to 11% employer contribution and up to six times life assurance.
The role involves:
- Maintaining and reviewing accounts on stop and those that have exceed their set credit limit.
- Assisting the cash allocation team with the resolution of payment issues providing the correct allocation of credit notes, unapplied cash or journals.
- Issuing monthly statements, taking ownership of accounts and resolving inbound enquiries by phone & email.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date customer details and notes regarding all communication and actions taken to recover debt and dispute resolution.
- Instigate Legal action where necessary for non-payment.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for trade debt litigation for review by Senior Management.
- Attend regular KPI meetings to identify and anticipate non-payment issues.
- Work in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver the needs of the department.
The successful candidate will have:

· Self-motivated, possessing ability to work under pressure on your own initiative.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with other stakeholders.Ability to manage and prioritise workload
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
It is also desirable for candidates to have previous credit control experience and/or Experience of Sage 1000.
