Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker/Labourer to join our team. Duties
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing and levelling ground surfaces
- Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment as required
- Assisting with the mixing and application of materials such as gravel, soil, or concrete
- Supporting skilled tradespeople by carrying out basic tasks and ensuring work areas are safe and tidy
- Digging trenches, holes, or foundations under supervision
- Maintaining health and safety standards on-site by adhering to safety protocols
- Operating basic tools and machinery as instructed
- Assisting with the transportation of materials around the site using wheelbarrows or small vehicles
Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour over extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
- Previous experience in construction or landscaping is advantageous but not essential
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Valid UK driving licence is a plus but not mandatory
