Job Overview:
We are seeking a Print Production Operative ideally with experience using industrial sewing machines and overlockers. To join our small but growing team. As a Production Operator, you will be mainly responsible for the printing, manufacturing, packing and shipping of all our printed products in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. And also to make a range of sewn products using printed fabrics. This is a hands-on role that involves working with graphic design and printing technologies as well as mechanical manufacturing processes. Attention to detail and a sharp focus is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of Printing and Heat press equipment
- Sewing machine operation
- Manufacturer of orders
- Workflow job queues management
- Workload prioritisation
- Packaging of orders
- Despatching of orders
- Equipment cleaning/maintenance
- Quality Control
- Stock control / management
- Graphic Design
- Waste management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General Computer Literacy essential
- Full training will be provided
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
- Keen attention to detail and quality control
- Must be team player and flexible as you will be required to get involved in other aspects of the business when required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication
