Are you passionate, hardworking, and experienced in a kitchen environment? 1915 Lanz Noodle is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth, clean, and efficient operation of our kitchen, supporting our chefs to deliver Edinburgh's favourite authentic hand-pulled noodles.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stable, part-time evening hours in a fast-paced and vibrant culinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Food Preparation: Assist the chefs with cooking, preparing food, and setting up ingredients.
* FOH Support: Assist with Front of House (FOH) duties when required to ensure smooth overall restaurant operations.
* Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the food service, preparation, and washing areas clean and hygienic to the highest standards.
* Follow Safety Guidelines: Adhere to all kitchen safety, food hygiene, and COSHH/HACCP regulations.
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK (Essential).
* Fluency in English (Essential).
* Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is required.
* Previous experience in a Front of House (FOH) role is required.
* Good knowledge of kitchen health & safety regulations and food hygiene.
* Ability to work efficiently and stay calm under pressure in a busy kitchen.
