Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial & hospitality venues, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by restocking supplies, disinfecting fixtures, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for all occupants.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and consistency.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow instructions clearly and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.
Required
- self-transport / driver license is essential. Candidates will not be considered who cannot self transport to venues.
