Nursery Manager – Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14
Salary: Up to £50,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 40 hours | Monday–Friday | Shifts between 7:30am–6:00pm
Contract: Permanent, all year round - Not suitable for term-time or school-hours applicants
We are looking for a passionate Nursery Manager to join our friendly and highly qualified team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14.
Our team provides a warm, nurturing environment where children learn through fun, engaging, and well-structured play experiences that support their development for school and life.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager or strong Deputy to step into a leadership role, combining both office-based responsibilities and hands-on support within the rooms. The role focuses heavily on developing staff practice, maintaining high-quality provision, and driving standards across the setting.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursery team
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and safeguarding requirements
- Plan and implement high-quality educational programmes
- Build strong relationships with parents, children, and staff
- Oversee budgets, resources, and day-to-day nursery operations
About You
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Nursery Manager
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Passion for early years education and child development
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety
- Eligible to work in the UK
