Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Semi Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will support various building projects by performing a range of hands-on tasks that require basic technical skills and a strong work ethic. Your contributions will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Duties
- Assist with carpentry, roofing, masonry, and construction painting tasks to support project progress
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various construction activities
- Support plumbing and electrical work by preparing materials and assisting skilled tradespeople
- Contribute to fabrication and welding tasks as directed, ensuring precision and safety
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up scaffolding or ladders
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, or fabrication is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments is highly desirable
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team setting
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
