Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated Repair Technician specialising in hard surface repairs to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, repairing, and restoring various hard surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilising specialised skills to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct assessments of damaged hard surfaces to determine the most suitable repair methods.
- Prepare surfaces prior to repairs by cleaning, sanding, or priming as necessary.
- Apply fillers, sealants, paints, or coatings to restore surface integrity and appearance.
- Operate specialised equipment safely and efficiently during repair procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
Skills
- Proven experience in hard surface repairs or related construction painting roles is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English to facilitate clear interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to enable travel between sites as required.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail when handling delicate or complex repairs.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within deadlines.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to construction and repair work is essential.

- Doors, Frames and fitted furniture.
- Kitchens and worktops
- UPVC, aluminium, and powder coated surfaces.
- Stone, marble, Corian and sanitaryware.
- Wood, laminate, and veneered finishes.
- Scratches, chips, dents, cracks, and surface damage.
- on-site spraying, colour matching and refinishing.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in hard service repair, French polishing, spraying and Smart repairs.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good colour-matching and finishing skills.
- A professional and respectful working manner when working on client sites.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- CSCS card preferred, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
