We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Community Pharmacy Nurse to join our friendly healthcare team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated nurse who is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centred care within a community setting.
You will work alongside pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team to deliver high-quality clinical services, promote healthy lifestyles, and support patients in managing their health.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective and compassionate nursing care to patients.
- Conduct appropriate clinical assessments and health checks.
- Support vaccination and immunisation services, where trained and authorised.
- Provide health screening, monitoring and lifestyle advice.
- Support patients with long-term conditions and health-management needs.
- Recognise and appropriately escalate patients who require further medical assessment.
- Maintain accurate, confidential and timely patient records.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, GPs and other healthcare professionals.
- Promote health prevention, wellbeing and patient education.
- Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with professional standards, local policies and relevant legislation.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a registered nurse with a valid registration.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is compassionate, approachable and patient-focused.
- Can work confidently and independently while being an effective team member.
- Demonstrates sound clinical judgement and a commitment to patient safety.
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities.
- Has an interest in community healthcare and health promotion.
