Job Description: Self-Employed Final Mile Courier
Location: Sheffield City Region (covering Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, & Doncaster)
Pay Rate: £19.00 – £25.00 per hour (Gross Revenue)
Status: Self-Employed Couriers – URGENT HIRING
Job Purpose
Deliver parcels and e-commerce goods from a local delivery unit directly to customers across South Yorkshire. This is a fast-paced, high-volume multi-drop role requiring speed, efficiency, and excellent local navigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Load & Sequence: Sort and load daily parcel volume into your delivery vehicle at the regional hub.
- Route Delivery: Navigate multi-drop routes across Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, and Doncaster using a smartphone delivery app.
- Customer Service: Safely deliver parcels to homes and businesses, obtaining digital signatures or photo proof of delivery.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence .
- Must have own car or van with personal insurance on it.
- Ownership of a smartphone with mobile data.
- Must pass a basic criminal background check (DBS) and drug/alcohol screening.
