Core Responsibilities
Guest Relations & Malaysian Hospitality: Warmly greet customers, manage the walk-in queue during busy peak hours, take reservations, and escort guests to their tables with our signature welcoming energy.
Order Management & Menu Knowledge: Take food and beverage orders accurately using our POS system. You’ll get to know our menu inside out so you can confidently guide guests through our authentic Malaysian dishes (like explaining the spice levels of our Laksa or the components of Nasi Lemak).
Service Delivery: Coordinate closely with the wok and kitchen team (Back of House) to serve steaming, vibrant dishes efficiently. Check in on guests during their meal, clear tables swiftly, and securely handle bills and card payments.
Venue Presentation: Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area. Wipe down tables, sanitize menus, reset spaces quickly between seatings, and ensure the restaurant always looks sharp and inviting.
Problem Solving & Dietary Safety: Handle customer inquiries, special requests, or dietary/allergen concerns (such as gluten-free or peanut allergies common in Asian cuisine) calmly and professionally. Escalate any complex complaints or issues to the supervisor on duty.
Pay: £12.71-£14.71 per hour
